Tomorrow, December 7th we welcome Mike “Doc” Leblanc of STL Veterans to the museum.  Beginning at 11:48 (7:48 Honolulu time) Mike and several volunteers will begin reading the names of the 2403 U.S. Service personnel that died in the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.  Mike expects several World War II veterans to attend the event.  The public is welcome to join us.

Those killed in the attack included 32 St. Louisans.  Ultimately, 16.1 million Americans would serve in World War II.  Many more men and women went to work on the home front for the war effort.  They arguably called “The Greatest Generation.”  Today, less than 119,000 that served remain to share the stories.  If you’d like to share the story of your veteran, visit, or call the museum at 636-294-2657.

Please contact the St. Charles County Veterans Museum Oral History project at sccvetsmuseum@gmail.com or call 636-294-2657 for more information and lets’ talk. We want to hear from you because we know…Every Veteran has a story.
