Per State Representative Nick Schroer via Facebook on 7-12-2019

Yesterday a very important piece of legislation was signed into law by Governor Mike Parson. House Bill 499, sponsored by my friend Representative Aaron Griesheimer, which protects workers on roadways from being struck, included my amendment renaming a portion of Interstate 70 after our late friend and American hero Ralph Barrale Sr.

You all know how Ralph as a young man stormed the beaches of Normandy in WWII under General Patton, liberated Dachau, and many other events proudly serving the United States. You all know Ralph’s impact on our state and county after he came home from serving in WWII.

Ralph gave his life to serving, and this small token of appreciation will show Missouri that we are all proud to once call him a friend. Please visit the The St. Charles County Veterans Museum if you would like to learn more about Ralph and other St. Charles County veterans here in #HouseDistrict107
