Preserve Our Veteran’s Stories

“No one is ever gone as long as someone still has memories of them”

Preserve Their Stories

Every day we hear, my father, mother, or a grandparent served.  We routinely ask, “did you preserve their story?”  Most of the time the answer is no.  Recording stories from veterans in your family not only helps to preserve their memory, but also serves to help shed light on the important role these men and woman played in our country.

Remembering, recording, and preserving your family history directly impacts you, your family, and future generations of people you may never know.

By providing a connection from the past to the present, veteran’s stories and accounts enable people to remember and honor those who have served our great country. They also provide an opportunity for younger generations to realize the sacrifices made by past generations.  If we do not preserve the stories of our ancestors, they are lost after just two generations pass.

The museum is committed to preserving the memories of our veterans.  We can help you.  Call the museum for more information or arrange an appointment by calling 636-294-2657.  You can also email us at sccvetsmuseum@gmail.com.
