Michael John Blum was born 22-SEP 1974 in St Charles, Missouri. His parents were Ron and Janet Blum. He had two siblings. He graduated from Ft. Zumwalt High School. Michael entered the Marine Corps immediately out of high school.
He married Misty Danielle Buttry on 4-JAN 2003, in Clark, Nevada. Misty and Michael both attended Ft. Zumwalt High School and lived in O’Fallon MO.
Michael served his country in the USMC for 20 years, which included 4 tours of duty in Iraq.
Michael John Blum died 15-SEP 2013, in Wentzville, Missouri, at the age of 38. He is buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis MO.
