Fulkerson, Ross Layton

Died While Serving 11-JUL 1918

Ross Layton Fulkerson was born 20-OCT 1892 in Defiance MO. His father was Joseph Edmund Fulkerson (1856-1919).  His mother was Ella May Layton Fulkerson (1862-1900).  He had five brothers; Roderick, Joseph, Leeman, Horace and Hudson.  He had two sisters; Catherine and Kittie.  His occupation was listed as a farm hand according to the draft card.  Ross entered the service on 5-MAR 1918.  

Ross Fulkerson died at Camp Funston of the Spanish Flu on  11-JUL 1918. His burial location is unknown.  There is a Fulkerson family cemetery in Defiance MO.  The cemetery website does not list Ross as buried there.
