Herman, William A.

Died While Serving 11-OCT 1918

William A. Hermann was born 26-JUL 1892 in Cottleville MO.  His parents were August and Susan Hermann.  He lived at 1028 Madison in St. Charles.  He was a shoemaker, working at International Shoe Company.  August Hermann was his next of kin.  William entered the service 19-MAY 1918.  He left New York on troop ship Olympic on 9-AUG 1918 bound for France, where he served in the US Army 349th Infantry Regiment, 88th Division.  William A. Hermann died of disease 11-OCT 1918.  William’s burial information is unknown.
