Earl Jones

Earl Jones was born 5-AUG 1895.  He lived in St. Charles MO. His parents were Willis and Belle Jones.  He entered the service on 5-AUG 1918. He was a Private in Company 112, 804th Pioneer Infantry.  Pioneer infantry regiments were formed during the World War I Era to serve as road maintenance troops but were often used as labor for anything that needed to be accomplished. He went overseas on 8-SEP 1918.

He was discharged on 23-JUL 1919.
