Ben Luetkemeier was born 25-NOV-1884 in Augusta.  He was the son of Bernard and Elizu Luetkemeyer.  His draft registration indicates of his employment status: “Just laid off, worked by the day.  We are farmers in the Femme Osage.”   

Ben entered the service 12-MAY-1918.  He served in the 38th Company 7th Division.  He died at Camp MacArthur Texas of pneumonia or Spanish Influenza 25-MAY-1918.  His burial information is unknown.
