Otto August Wessler was born 3-JUL-1892 in Mexico MO.  Father was Henry H. Wessler (1856-1899) and his mother was Emma Langemann Wessler (1859-1931).  He had two sisters; Ella and Emma.  He had five brothers; Edward, Alwin, Henry and Elmer.  In 1900 the family lived in Audrain County MO.  Otto’s home address on the draft registration is listed as Augusta MO.  He was self-employed in the Livery Business in Augusta 

MO.  Otto joined the Army 24-JUL-1918.  He was a Private in Headquarters Company 70th Infantry.  Otto died of pneumonia, Spanish Influenza in camp on 5-OCT 1918.  Otto is buried in Femme Osage United Church of Christ  Cemetery.
