Home Depot installs six new flag poles 10-16-19
On October 16th, the Home Depot St Charles store visited the St Charles County Veterans Museum. They installed six new flagpoles, mulch, rock, and built a flower bed. Libby Stevenson and her team at store #3009 secured a Home Depot grant for the project.
“Having the flags or emblems of the service in the front of the museum was the dream of Ralph Barrale Sr our founder,” says Jim Higgins Museum Board member.
“The Home Depot has been very generous in helping us since construction began in fall of 2018,” Higgins Said.
In addition to Home Depot, Pavestone (a vendor and stone distributor for Home Depot) has donated thousands of dollars in materials and installation.
“With Pavestone’s help, we created many flower beds throughout the property. They previously installed the memorial pavers in front of the flag poles and today they helped add the stone wall around the flagpole lights. Aaron Jenkins and Ty Sterthmon are the factory representatives for Pavestone. They have been very generous and helpful,” Higgins said.
