Thank You Volunteers and Jaycees!
Thanks to our amazing group of volunteers and the St. Charles Jaycees for their help on Saturday. The museum had two “flood events” in 2022. The first was in July when O’Fallon was soaked with 14 inches of rain. Our artifact storage unit flooded, and we had to move to a local, climate-controlled facility. The second flood was caused by burst pipes at the museum on Christmas Day. Thanks to our volunteers and the Jaycees, we settled back into our off-site storage facility this past Saturday.
Fortunately, in both flood events, NO ARTIFACTS were damaged. Thank you, Jaycees, Julia, Matt, Michael, Logan, and Ava for the young extra set of hands Saturday. Here is a link to their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/stcmojaycees/

The museum expects to reopen in late February with several new exhibits. We are blessed to be in a wonderful, caring community. Thank you!
